Looking for tips on how to figure out the right amount of gain. I have the pro stick plus, I live near a small airport in a small town. Not much in the way of interference as far as I can tell, or is there a way to tell?

How high is your antenna? Do you have a clear view of the horizon?

The most likely interference is from TV, FM radio, and cellphone towers. Cell towers are all over the place. An app like [LTE Discovery](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.simplyadvanced.ltediscovery) can help find how close cell towers are.
