I have a number of feeders. Unfortunately, one of the sites was sold and I had to take down the feeder earlier this year. The feeder ID disappeared from my status page several months later.
I have now found another site and was wondering if I could just put the same hardware/software up with no changes (ie. not change the feeder ID).
Just change the location on the stats page once it is active again.
Then restart the unit.
The 32-character feeder ID
xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
is preserved and is reuseable even after long dis-use.
However the Site number
is lost after 30 days of dis-use, and a new Site number is allocated for the old feeder ID.
