Resumption of oceanic flights

The coronavirus pandemic resulted in the complete suspension of all regularly scheduled oceanic flights between South America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Depending on the route, flights were suspended from either mid or late March 2020.

Only a few repatriation flights flew in April, May and June 2020, some on the same routes as previously scheduled routes, others on various numerous new, unusual or unique routes - and all with different flight numbers to the regular scheduled flights. Additionally, a number of medical supplies flights flew from South America via Sydney or Auckland to various places in China, and returned to South America with those vital supplies.
