is the AirSpy mini recommended above the ProStick?
#antenna will be on roof ~20’ off ground

The ProStick has a filter and LNA, where as the Airspy mini does not have that. You would need to add a filtered LNA (or a separate filter and LNA) in front of the Airspy mini. If you did that the Airspy mini would probably be better than the ProStick. Note that if you put an LNA in front of the Airspy mini, you would probably need to power it externally. That is, you won’t be able to power the LNA from the bias-t in the Airspy mini since it is limited to 50 ma of current. Most LNA’s draw more current than that. Hope this helps.

To add to this: I am running an airpsy r2 with a noolec lana (powered by bias-t). The LNA however sits directly at the antenna instead of in front of the airspy.
I just meant functionally in front of the Airspy. It should be near the antenna. Also, you just have an LNA (no filter)? Is the current drain of the Nooelec lana less than 50 ma?

Just LNA without any filter. The antenna is a 3-element quad/loop yagi with quite narrow-band behaviour with the LNA sitting directly at the driven element.
