i can confirm the lcd image doesnt work with the 3a+ and the 2.4" lcd and i cant be bothered to take apart my working system (3b & 3.5" lcd) to try it, i wanted to make a smaller version
here is my current setup, temp location till i mount permanently
the cheap antenna from aliexpress works well and was about £13 inc 5m cable
just waiting on some more bits then will mount in a waterproof case, add a small fan, short coax, fix to a pole and feed with a 5v (or 12v via regulator)
