Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+

Hi all,

I have been running PiAware on an old RPi Model B, and decided to upgrade the hardware.

I followed the instructions for a new install, and then added the ‘feeder-id’ of the existing feeder to the config file on the new device.

However, even after leaving it overnight, there is no network connectivity and I am therefore unable to claim the receiver. I am using a wired connection, everything in this regard is the same as the previous model.

Is there a compatibility issue with the new hardware?

All help and suggestions are much appreciated.

Piaware SD card image is NOT (yet) compatible to RPi 3 B+

Please do following:

  1. Download and write to your microSD card, the latest version of Raspbian image:
    Raspbian Stretch Lite
    Release date: 2018-06-27
Download page: [url]Raspberry Pi OS – Raspberry Pi

  2. Go to this page and install PiAware feeder and dump1090-fa

Ah sorry I must have missed this! I’ll give it a go and report back.

Thanks

EDIT: All working, thanks for the help.
