Recently installed the latest SD card piaware image on a raspberry 5 machine (upgraded from raspberry 4).
When trying to upgrade from 10.2 to 11.0, apt wants to hold four packages back:
dump1090-fa dump978-fa piaware skyaware978
When trying to manually upgrade, piaware (apt upgrade piware), I get a long list of packages that can be removed after the upgrade (removing them will break a lot of stuff) and get notified that the piaware-release package will be removed (which should not be removed):
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
atmel-firmware beast-splitter firmware-intelwimax firmware-iwlwifi firmware-ti-connectivity firmware-zd1211 fontconfig fonts-cantarell fonts-font-awesome fonts-lato gunicorn libcairo2 libgraphite2-3 libharfbuzz0b libpango-1.0-0 libpangocairo-1.0-0 libpangoft2-1.0-0 libpixman-1-0 libplymouth5 libxcb-render0 libxcb-shm0 libxrender1 piaware-ble-connect piaware-configurator piaware-support piaware-web piaware-wifi-scan plymouth plymouth-label plymouth-themes python3-bidict python3-click python3-colorama python3-dbus python3-dnspython python3-engineio python3-eventlet python3-flask python3-flask-cors python3-flask-socketio python3-greenlet python3-gunicorn python3-itsdangerous python3-jinja2 python3-markupsafe python3-socketio python3-tohil python3-werkzeug rtl-sdr sphinx-rtd-theme-common whois
Use ‘apt autoremove’ to remove them.
