Power Inserter and Amp - Confused

I’m pretty hopeless when it comes to this type of thing, but I am about to setup a second Pi at my home. This will become my testing spot as it will be easier to access than my current station.

I’m pretty sure I’m over what I need to do, but I just want to confirm I’m not going to blow myself up or something.

I just buy one of these Direct TV power inserters, attach that at the pi end of the cable, and the low noise amp needs to go at the antenna end?

Is this all I need to do, or is there something else I should be looking at too?

You got it. Make sure the output of the power inserter is approx. the same voltage expected by your amp. You can also make a power inserter fairly easily. There is an old post by abcd that has instructions.
