Hi all !
I’m a feeder, for some years, with some fixed stations.
Often working on remote, I’m considering building a lightweight and hardened unit, of course Raspberry Pi based.
my question is, shall I set my feeder position at each moving ?
Does it matter for ADS-B feed ?
I plan to turn off MLAT, too.
Thanks for your advices !

Updating your position would make sense indeed, MLAT is most depending on that but the ADS-B benefits from a correct position as well.
Thanks for your reply !
I was more likely thinking it was “plug and forget”, but if it is the way it works, let’s do it !

You could also build a device with a GPS receiver then you have the option to get the position updated automatically.
I’ve got to dig that, thank you for the advice !
