Hey guys,
first of all a happy new year!
Do you know why planeplotter don’t give me a sharer code? It worked till yesterday but I’m getting this alert when I will start the sharing:
WARNING - TIME EXTENDS BEYOND MODEL 5-YEAR LIFE SPAN CONTACT NGDC FOR PRODUCT UPDATES:
National Geophysical Data Center
I want to upload data to flightaware but it doesn’t work. Have you any ideas what I can do?
Kind regards,
Mike

Looks like PlanePlotter needs a updated magnetic field model (no really! Apparently the one they use expires in 2015) - you should talk to COAA about that.
Hi,
I have the same issue and error message.
Edwin
But now the software is sharing data and FlightAware is receiving the data.
Is your PP sharing data at the moment?

I replaced the old WMM.COF (World Magnetic Model coefficient file) in the Planeplotter folder with the 2015 version from the following NGDC website
[ngdc.noaa.gov/geomag/WMM/soft.shtml](http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/geomag/WMM/soft.shtml)
Planeplotter no longer issues the Warning about the model 5-yr life span. However, have not tested this other than with simple ADSB logging.
