PiAware v3.xx - JessieLite install method?

What is the recommended method to install the latest PiAware v3.xx onto a JessieLite system for those who do not use pre-canned image or prefer using Joe’s scripts, or those who do not like to use scripts at all? I assume piaware_builder would be the method to use if one were looking to use a script, however quite unsure if anything else needs to be altered to mesh with dump1090-mutability, or if there is another method to manually build?

Follow GDoggRaspberry’s example from the post below.

If you want dump1090-mut with the nice NEXRAD weather, then do the same thing for dump1090-mut
Grab a Bing developer key if you don’t like the openmaps.

Thanks Mate! I missed that post, thought I did a decent search before creating the topic. :open_mouth:
Perhaps it will help others with the same question and poor search skills like me.

no problem. I have had issues with searching (It doesn’t like numbers). Fortunately piaware_builder worked this time.

FYI the dump1090-mut has a great STD dongle decoder. So much better than the stock 2.1.5 build. The FA Website says you have the Debian package but I can’t see the dump1090 version.

Here is a link to the missing dependencies I had with Jessie Lite.
You might want to install them first before building.
