In Step 4, “Where should we send the alerts”, there’s a drop-down list containing the options “On the Flight” and “Operating the Flight”?
My questions are: what’s do these options mean and what’s the difference?

“Operating the flight” gets you filed, arrival, diverted, cancelled alerts.
“On the flight” gets you just filed and cancelled alerts. (You don’t need to know the flight arrived or departed since you’re on it, and unlikely to have coverage anyways.)
“Meeting the flight” gets you filed, cancelled, arrival, diverted, departure alerts.
