Hi,
is there any experience, how to use dump1090-fa with Openstreetmap while having a poor or no internet connection in a mobile setup?
I have tried it. The map does not load without internet connection.
amazing with all tech and gis available, having to stumble to issues like this (for desk/laptop users) 
planeplotter uses the ‘general.out’ which at least provides a basic map that can be used offline.
