lol, i did but the release date said holiday of 2006 lol. i just curious if anyone had around a specific date of relase date
You’re not using the right search words, my son. The first entry I saw had a specific date.
I used “flight simulator x release date” (without the quotation marks) in my search.
Why did you find it funny? LOL - that’s got to be one of the stupidest Internet abbreviations around. Did you really laugh out load at finding it said only “holiday 2006” or were you laughing at me or what? 
i was laughin cuz i tried google and didnt get any results. but i tried again with diff. words and i got a release date. thnx

Not really the “nature of Google.” It’s the nature of all search engines. There’s an old saying in data processing: GIGO - garbage in, garbage out. If you don’t take a second or two to think about your key word(s) entry into ANY search engine then you won’t get what you expect.

Seems that the local WalMart didn’t read the release date: They have MS Flight Simulator X on the shelf right now. I saw it myself tonight, and thought maybe it was a promo DVD or something stupid, but I picked it up and looked at it. That was it!! (They didn’t have the "Deluxe"version though, just the regular one) There was no price on the shelf tag, and the bar code on top wouldn’t activate one of those price-check scanners, so I’m not sure what the retail was on it (Flt Sim '04 is $29.95), but the boxes were on the shelf, and I’m pretty damn sure the disks were inside!!
