I noticed that no body offers this service. There are a lot of bloggers on the Southwest blog that want it to return. Is there something in place that has restricted that service?
Southwest is in the process of rebuilding its MSY operations. BHM, being a relatively short segment, is probably not too high on their list of services to reinstate.
Since Hurricane Katrina, it has been impossible for me to book SWA between Birmingham and Tulsa. Come on, Southwest, do something? I used to fly BHM-HOU-TUL on you guys all the time!
That is strange. I just tried to do it and BHM wasn’t listed when I used TUL as the origin. Same thing happened when I reversed the cities.
One thing you should do is look at the timetables. If a flight (direct or nonstop) isn’t listed there then you won’t be able to book it. However, you could book at TUL-HOU and then a HOU-BHM flight. Might even still be cheaper than other airlines.
