No map routes display

My computer has recently been upgraded with the Internet Explorer 7 browser. Now the flight routes do not appear on the map. The information boxes ( altitude, speed etc. ) appear, but the aircraft depiction and routes do not. Everything seemed to work fine with IE XP.

The latest version of IE is Ver. 9, not 7.

Yes, I know. My computer was upgraded to the IE Ver. 7. My map routes are no longer depicted. I was previously running IE XP.
