New time zone? METDST

Not really sure what you’re showing or saying. Mine says CDT.

Probably Middle European Time - Daylight Saving Time. The more common form would be CEST, for Central Europe Summer Time.

Yep – PAGoldsby is right.

thanks guys, you’d think after flying all over Europe for the last 18 years I’d have heard of Middle Europe time before.

“Mid-Europe” Time is not a very common term. I’ve always heard it CET (winter) or CEST (summer).

I was going to go with Middle Earth time… we should probably change that to something that more people are familiar with.

The timezone for mid/central Europe will be changed within 24 hours.
