I upgraded my FlightAware software today from 3.0.4 to the newest version available. The newest one on the site, as of today (9/26/16) is 3.1-0.
After doing an update and upgrade of my O/S, I did the upgrade of the product as per the instructions on the PIAWARE page through “Build an ADS Receiver” and then the link, “Upgrade PiAware ADS-B Software”
The upgrade went smoothly, but now I get two errors in my piaware.log file, located in /var/log
Sep 26 16:08:22 pi-flight-1 piaware[469]: error uploading ADS-B message: can’t read “row(hexid)”: no such element in array
and
Sep 26 16:23:04 pi-flight-1 piaware[469]: NOTICE from adept server: 23% of multilateration messages (UDP) are not reaching the server - check your network?
I think it’s related to the MLAT portion of the software.
Has anyone else seen these types of errors since upgrading to the new version? If yes, and you have resolved the issue, how?

The one with the big red box at the top saying it hasn’t been updated for PiAware 3 yet?
It probably didn’t break anything, but I have not tested that path so it may not work.

This is pretty weird because I fixed exactly that bug before releasing 3.1.0 (and I just verified that the packages do have the fix).
What does “md5sum /usr/lib/piaware/faup1090.tcl” say?

That could be, because for some reason, my pi did a reboot I didn’t ask for, and it does seem to be working ok.
I thought I had rebooted after the package upgrade, because I did a reboot after both the apt-get update and apt-get upgrade for the o/s. I suppose it’s entirely possible I forgot to reboot at the end of the package upgrade.
