Nearby ADS-B Stats Section Questions

#1 How do I claim my Planeplotter location which is 7653 KHND under the Nearby ADS-B stats section? I would like to be able to see the detailed log, live stream, etc. Can this be added in as a separate location tab as some other who have multiple locations, so I don’t have to open up another browser?

#2 A relatives site 7257 KABE does not show his comparison stats (0 miles) under the Nearby ADS-B stats section, while my site and numerous others I spot checked do show this comparison. Is there a setting amiss for site 7257?

Theresjam, thanks on the Planeplotter info. Missed the sharing code and now got it.

Can ADMIN look into Questions #2:

Does anyone from Flight Aware have an answer to the question. This is my site and has not appeared since i Joined.

looken4it2,

I don’t have the answer. I have posted almost the same question as the O.P. in this thread… no response at all from FA or anyone. Reading the various threads seems the answers given are not on the question asked. My question is when you see and identify an “Unclaimed” as yours… how do you attach or ie “claim” it. It should be easily recognized under your ID name but isn’t. You don’t get any credit for your “unclaimed” instance that I can see. It is providing traffic for FA but no stats for the guy who furnishes and maintains the Rpi/SDR etc. How could anyone go through the efforts to put an operative 1090 receiver (ex PiAware) on the air and leave it “unclaimed” is beyond me. Puzzled from a new guy in early stages of branching out from PlanePlotter.

Elpipila, I did stumble upon how to make the claim for my Planeplotter account, so Question #1 is resolved. Thanks for the info.

Question #2 regarding why my father’s feeder stats do not show on his “Nearby ADS-B Site” section is still unresolved (while my stats show on my Nearby ADS Site section as well as others I have spot checked). Contacted FlightAware via email yesterday, but no response as of yet.

Thx

flightaware.com/adsb/piaware/claim This has worked from the beginning (never a problem). Now, Good News! I just received from FA the “fix” to claim an “unclaimed” instance. Well done FA for enabling the corrections necessary!

I now have 2 instances of stats running in real time… 1 from PP… Raspy-pass-through and 1 from a dedicated Raspi, Piware, R820/ 2838 running 24/7 on FA.

WELL DONE FLIGHT AWARE!
