N800PJ Galaxy reportedly off runway in Iqaluit

FlightAware Flight Tracker N800PJ over flying the Atlantic yesterday, from Farnborough in London UK via a fuel stop in Iqaluit en route to San Jose.

Aircraft reportedly over ran the runway, awaiting further news!!

Iqaluit was known as Frobisher Bay in the frozen North of Canada.

N800PJ parked in frozen field!!! Seems aircraft over ran the runway, and went through a fence, no front end photos but looks okay otherwise!!! At least the gear stayed up!! Apparently the field has been frozen solid for two months now!!

You can see the remains of the fence to the left of the aircraft.

Either they spun or turned around in preparation for taxiing back to terra firma.

Good observation, aircraft did a 180 as it went thru the fence, today they were carving out an ‘ice’ taxiway, to tow it out of there.

There was also a NetJets Citation Excel C560XL that went off a taxiway at Centennial Airport in Denver yesterday.
