Three reported dead in crash of lanceair. A Witness reported the plane made a left turn just after takeoff on 22L, rolled and crashed into a orange grove just west of Greenfield road. The tower reports the pilot called the tower and reported he was having engine problems. The aircraft rolled over and went straight in.
I wonder why Phoenix radar was still picking this one up for a few minutes after the crash…

Take note of the long lat… One minute flight 30 seconds based on movement (long lat) seems reasonable.
Transponder probably worked til it ran out of juice or when ATC marked it arrived would be my guess for length of tracklog…

But yeah, I do see what you’re saying and I can agree with that.
Ahh, only looked at the tracklog which displayed one minute of movement, not the tailnumber page. 
Regarding the positions: We’ve noticed that when position data isn’t available, the FAA will sometimes send us the last known position every minute instead of sending nothing.
Regarding the duration: Los Angeles Center marked the flight as arrived at 1545Z with an estimated arrival time of 1539Z.
Which is interesting, since the plane never even went into LA Center’s airspace.
