# Monitoring dump1090

Is it possible to get any local statistics out of dump1090-fa - like described on [ads-b-flight-tracking-f21/system-monitoring-t26999.html](https://discussions.flightaware.com/t/system-monitoring/16713) ?

I have tried several things according to that thread, but I cannot get it to work on me Raspbian Jessie with dump1090-fa v3.1.0

Any hints on what to do/what can be done ? Is an approach like described on [forum.planefinder.net/threads/a … raphs.951/](https://forum.planefinder.net/threads/automated-installation-of-dump1090-mutability-data-feeders-and-performance-graphs.951/) needed ?
