# Moderating

Considering the amount of spam that has been attacking the FlightAware forum, I think it is time for FlightAware to moderate newly registered forum members.

So far this admittedly unscientific poll indicates that 2/3 of the responders want new users moderated.

There’s been two more spams today. Thank you for whoever reported them. I have volunteered to moderate new users if the FlightAware doesn’t have the staff to do it.

To those who have reported the spam: Did you check the box asking to be informed when the problem was taken care of? If so, did you actually get a reply? I haven’t for the ones I’ve reported.

Yes, I checked the box on the first few I reported. No, I did not get a response. I don’t even bother with the checkbox anymore.
