Mode s flight data is not showing up on flightaware map

I have an question regarding Mode S flight data is not showing up on flightaware map, i can see flightdata on local skyaware and but this data is not showing up on flightaware map, please let me know why this flightdata are not display in flightaware.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve restarted everything several times but the map still shows no aircraft at all, even when they are flying directly over my location.

Basic Mode S does not provide position information, hence it not showing.
There is information about Mode S here:

It’s likely that you have misconfigured your location on the receiver or on FA.

This could lead to the local display of aircraft not showing position due to a range limitiation built into the software.

In the webinterface you’d see the black dot and range circles in the wrong location.

Thank you for the reply, but i can see this flights on other feeder maps,is there any technical issue from filghaware.

I have the same problem, no flights on flightaware map, it was working last week.

There are a number of reasons you might not see MLAT data for the aircraft you see on another tracking site. It could be that there are not enough other sites feeding FlightAware that can see those aircraft. In order to MLAT you need 4 sites. The aircraft might be too low for the other 3 required sites to receive them. Also you only get MLAT returns for aircraft where FlightAware are using your receiver to determine the calculation. If your receiver is not being used then you don’t get the data fed back to you. I can’t find the original thread about this but if there are many possible receivers that could be used then there is some round robin selection process. If your receiver is selected it will return the results. It continues returning results for a grace period if your receiver becomes deselected but unless it is reselected you will stop getting MLAT. So it could be too few or too many other receivers.

If those are all actually ModeS transponders, they are too low for MLAT to work or FA is not showing them due to owner request or similar.

ModeS transponders don’t sent a position so you can’t show it on a global map.

As per the data this flights altitudes are 3000ft to 19000ft, and even my MLAT is synchronized with 10 nearby receivers all the time, what would be ? do i require more MLAT postions.

Are they all receiving the same aircraft as you?
You don’t know, they could be stations that only synchronize with you using aircraft flying at 40k ft which can be received easily from far away.

So yes it likely needs more stations.

Also that count of synchronized receivers is somewhat misleading on FA, it also counts receivers that are indirectly synchronized i believe.

What would be the solution for this kind of Mode s flight data to be displayed on map.
