Your OS is still Debian 11 bullseye, so your issue is not related to mlat issue specific to debian12.
(1) How have you installed piaware?
(2) What is output of following command
apt-cache policy piaware
dietpi@DietPi:~$ apt-cache policy piaware
piaware:
Installed: 8.2
Candidate: 8.2
Version table:
*** 8.2 100
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
im sure i installed piaware from flightaware site
I remember bad memory grrr
sdcard has latest piaware (not used )
dietpi installed with 8.2 install off forum from ssd usb
There is no referencr to any package repository. This shows you have build the piaware package from source code. You must be having that deb package in a folder named “piaware_builder”. Reinstall it by following command
cd piaware_builder
sudo dpkg -i piaware_8.2_*.deb
Yes that is how i installed it
thankyou
re installing now
OK that didnt work out
so i reformatted ssd burn piaware image to ssd
and same problem no mlat
so perhaps its my ssd having a wobbly
im just about to swap to my sdcard see if all is well
Right sdcard is not working either which did few days ago
trying raspberry route instead
