# MLAT to multiple feeds

Hi, I hope someone can shed some light on this for me please and sorry if it has been covered already.
I’ve recently set up my Pi3 and am feeding data to FR24, AirNavRadar and Flightaware, this is working great and I can see my stats on the respective pages.
However concerning MLAT, FlightAware is the only one receiving MLAT data, with FR24 and AirNavRadar not receiving it.
How do I provide MLAT to the feeds that are missing it? Anything to take into consideration with multiple MLATs on one Pi3?

When you supply MLAT to FA or other tracking websites FR24 won’t accept your MLAT results so there’s no point in sending them MLAT results. Only MLAT results that FR24 takes into account are from their own supplied feeders. So MLAT results from a device starting with an F in the station name will be allowed to send MLAT, stations with T in the station name ( home built receivers) the MLAT data will be discarded.
If a recipient site wants to receive MLAT data they will supply the mlat client software when you add them to your setup.
you usually have one decoder (dump1090-fa, readsb or another flavour) as the data source where the programs like piaware, fr24feed etc. take their input from. Multiple decoders lead to conflicts since only one program can have the SDR dongle in use.

thanks for the info on FR24. This is very helpful.
I use one dump1090 for all the feeds on my Pi.
The Airnavradar package had an MLAT option for install, which when I installed turned to false to disable - thinking it may conflict with the FA install already running.
Would you know if the ANR MLAT instance can be activated or will this cause conflict in some way?

I don’t use the Airnav software myself, but I don’t think it will bite eachother.
Maybe @abcd567 can comment on that, I know he uses the Airnav software.

No, the AirNav (Radarbox24) mlat-client does NOT conflict with mlat-client of Flightaware in any way.
In fact the FA, AirNav (Radarbox24), Adsbexchange, Adsbfi, Adsblol, etc, ALL install their own dedicated mlat-clients, and none of these interfere with each other. The reason is that all these are installed under their own dedicated virtual environments (VENV).

I can confirm that I have installed the MLAT instance for AirNavRadar and set this to true now and now is feeding MLAT together with FA without issues so far. 🙂
