I feed my PiAware outputs to Virtual Radar, and have noticed that sometimes that the altitude results via MLAT differ.
In PiAware they seem reasonable (e.g. 2625 ft for a helicopter), but VirtualRadar reports the same aircraft as GND.
The position and speed data agree for the two maps.
Am I doing something wrong?
VRS has a tendency to interpret spurious messages as a certain GND indication and then stick to that state for way longer than would be reasonable.
