I have a Odroid N2+ that has been running a Airspy R2 for 1090 with no issues for several months now. Recently, I’ve connected an NESDR SMArt V5 for 978, and my MLAT positions immediately went from 5-10k per day to 0. Any thoughts as to what could have caused that?
The SMArt was connected mid-morning on the 19th (see picture)
I tried this on an RPI4 and ran into issues with the USB ports sharing one bus. I can’t recall of the Odroid has the same issue.
The second dongle would use too much USB bandwidth and mess up the MLAT traffic on the airspy.
You could try changing USB ports.
I had this on a Intel nuc too when I had both an external SSD and the blue fa radio plugged in. I solved it with an external powered USB hub …
