Missed Approach Time Updates

As the winter weather and hard IFR approach us, I have noticed on several occasions that the flight clock stops on intial approaches and does not restart on a missed approach.

I am not certain how the database receives information, although it does continue to map track on a missed, but it would be helpful to see the actual arrival time. Any explaination of how the data works would help me understand options.

The actual arrival time is generally set by an arrival or cancellation message from the FAA. We’ll set it based on the last position, but only if we don’t get an arrival/cancellation.
