How long is a third class medical certificate good for these days. I heard that it is now good for thirty six months if you are under forty.
I am wondering if your examination has to have been after they changed the rule.
I also hear that they are thinking about changing it to five years for us youngsters.

I don’t believe the rules have changed recently enough to impact anyone with an existing certificate. 3rd class is 2 years or 3 years for \<40.
