Do an airport activity check on KAGS - literally hundreds of flights (mostly light aircraft but some others as well) - arriving Tue, Wed, Thur this week. That airfield isn’t that big. Where do they park all these aircraft during the tournament?
The smart ones use KHQU.
I know that when there is a LARGE convention in Atlanta, they usually fly into PDK and the airport closes one of their runways and park the jets on it.
KAGS actually has quite a large ramp area, as well as an additional runway that can be used for aircraft parking. I flew trips to the Masters every year for about 8 years and we never had a problem with parking or service. Daniel, Burke, and Aiken all provide alternatives, but KAGS seems to do just fine.
