# MapFlightEx Output

Inconsistent picture being returned. Sometimes we get the map we want with the flight routing however most of the time we’re getting just a zoomed out picture of the entire earth/globe with the departure and arrival city mapped but no route showing. Any ideas what’s causing this?

Make sure that you are requesting the faFlightID for a flight that is in progress or arrived. Flights that are still in the future will generally not have any information that can be plotted yet.
