# MapFlight image type change

We’ve just updated MapFlight and MapFlightEx to generate PNG instead of GIF images. In addition to the format change, line smoothing (anti-aliasing) is now being used on the maps which makes them look even better!

Let us know if you like or dislike the change, or if it has caused a problem for you.
