There was a contest to be one of 50 people to go out on the airfield to see it land today at IAD

I entered mostly for $hits n grins but thought that would be cool to fly up and be part of that.
So I’m out trimming trees yesterday in the morning and the cell phone rings, 703 area code, eh let it go to voicemail, here’s the message:
"Hi Richard this is David B. calling for Dennis H. at the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority, you’ve been selected to come out and see the 747 land tomorrow … So I had to call him and let him know I was stuck in SA and couldn’t make it.
