I am using AirlineFlightInfo API to get the terminal and gate info’s.But in that i am not able to get the gate information for all the flights(or)airports.Ex.EK413,EK412…
And in the response of Termainal no i am getting responses like 1,2,3,I,D.Is it I refers to International And D refers to Domestic.If so can you list down all the possible responses i can get it form terminal_orig,terminal_dest fields..
The terminals and gates are airport specific nomenclature and do not follow any regular rules between airports. We do not have any direct control over the convention that is used, since that is how the data is provided to us via the airlines.
Terminals are frequently just a single letter, but it is sometimes a single digit, or sometimes a letter and a digit.
Gates are frequently just digits (when there is only one terminal at the airport), but it can also be a letter and a digit to also indicate which terminal the gate is in. Sometimes there is a letter suffix, such as when there is room for two or more aircraft at a single gate.
In general, if a terminal is specified then a gate usually will not be (and vice versa), though it’s also not guaranteed that either will be available.
