I’m betting on a CFIT. There’re mountains in that vicinity.

For those not familiar with the term: CFIT means controlled flight into terrain, aka crashing into a mountain.

Before James started flying out west he always looked at me like I had just crawled out from under a rock when I used those terms or referred to “rock filled clouds” in general.
