# Issues with Pi

I just got my Pi up and running today, i’ve put in all of the information that was given on the flight aware website and i have my account linked to the pi however, for some reason even though i can see planes going by on dump1090, they do not count for anything in flight aware. I have looked at my profile, it doesnt show any planes to my name, even though i have personally seen them in dump1090. Any ideas?

Your dump1090 is either not running, or is not configured to provide data on port 30005.
You might want to try a sdcard image install rather than a package install to start with.
