After launching the app on both my iPhone and iPad, there is a long “pause” before the app starts accepting any input. Sometimes it can approach a 30 to 45 seconds before it responds to any touch on the screen. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
I searched the forums to see if there were any other folks experiencing the following and didn’t see anything and apologize ahead of time if I missed it.
While there is usually a slight delay on most apps after launch, 30-45 seconds sounds much too long to me. I just tested this on the latest version (3.2.2) of our iPhone/iPad app and the app responded within 3-5 seconds.
To help us investigate this issue, could you please provide the following information:
Do you have the latest version? (To check, just see if an update is listed in the App Store.)
What iOS devices were you using and what version of iOS are they running? (e.g. iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1. To check version, open the Settings App and look under General then About.)
Were you using 3G/4G or WiFi when you experienced this issue? If it was 3G/4G, which cell phone carrier was the device on?
