Maybe it’s just me but since installing the new iPhone app, I have noticed a few issues with the nearby search function of the app. Refresh times of nearby flights seem much slower than the previous version of the app.

Additionally, I can no longer see a “google maps” type overlay of my position. Instead, I can only see the usual Flightaware “blue” map like on the desktop site. I assume this is what the “FA Bases” button is for, but when I select FA Bases OFF, it doesn’t change the map.

Is this just me or is there more to this? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Christian
