FlightAware has had a setting in iOS to toggle Live Activies on or off for some time. This allows apps to display relevant information on the lock screen in realtime. As far as I can tell, FlightAware does not implement any Live Activities despite this toggle.
Were they planning on implementing it and just never got around to it? Will it be a feature in a future release?
It would be very nice for lock screen Live Activities to appear when an flight alert becomes active.
