In the InFlightInfo operation of the FlightXML2 API, what does the “timeout” field mean?
Specifically, I have noticed two values: “ok” for flights that are currently in-air and another that says “timedout”. What does the “timedout” value mean?
It is mostly an internal status field and just indicates if it has been more than 15 minutes without a new position (or more than 55 minutes if it was last known to be sending oceanic positions).
