Any idea why this flight path is so bizarre? It seems to have added at least 2 hours to the scheduled flying time. This is significantly different from the inward flight (EY183) that came in from AUH before returning back from SFO today. Everything seems normal from SFO all the way to the top of Greenland and then a right angled turn south into Norway going all the way down to the south of France and then a right angle turn east…This was the flight plan even as it took off from SFO. I thought this was a mistake but it seems to be faithfully following this plan.
