My favorite culprit is the powersupply. Even without any warning message about low voltage it could be the problem. (I tested it)
Getting an adjustable power supply connected could eliminate that possibility.
Also moving to putty would remove any power/processor usage for the video output: For Beginners - How-to SSH to RPi - Setup Putty in Windows
(you can just use touch /boot/ssh.txt
and reboot to activate ssh, no need to fool around with the sd card)
And with putty you can just copy paste commands and copy paste out. Makes it all much easier.
Sorry that it’s not working, i kinda expected it to work.
You still have the adsb-receiver project installed, yes?
Testing with a fresh sd-card might make sense as i don’t know what else is running on that pi.
