How to tell when a plane will be scapped?

I repeatably keep an eye on KGYR/GYR to see if a plane comes in to meet its faith,
is there a website or better way to get a heads up when something comes in other then constantly checking the departure and arrival list…?

If you can get a tail #, you can go to http://planespotters.net and search the reg on there. If the plane is old, it may get lucky and find a new owner, or it will be turned into a million soda cans :frowning:.

There are places other than GYR where aircraft are scrapped. Particularly MZJ, VCV, and GWO. Also sometimes OPF (more frequently smaller aircraft).
