How to feed FA using Windows computer

I was thinking about setting up a site, using my Windows computer. What is the best way to do it and what software would I need?

Thanks for the help.

I got into feeding FA before the piaware software was released when I found planeplotter out of the UK.

It costs $25 on a one-time registration fee. If you set up as a ground station running dump1090 for windows and run more than 50% of the time, they will waive a $15/yr Master User fee. You would be feeding the planeplotter system which also lets you forward to FA.
There may be other methods, this is the one I use. I use an RTL 810T receiver connected to the laptop, or capture the feed from an RPi, depending on whether I am at home or on the road. Hope you find this helpful.

After reading your above post, and seeing the configuration at http://flightaware.com/adsb/sbs3/ (IP address & Port number), I configured a “Push Server” in the VRS few minutes ago.

I dont know how successful or correct it is, but it did start sending data from VRS using merged feed from my 2 RPis, but if a DVB-T & RTL1090 is configured on windows, it will send data from windows DVB-T.

QUESTION: What is my station ID???
