Yes, for sure you have to have Lat/Lon set for MLAT. Also height above sea level.
It looks like the kit that they sell, comes with the usb adapter so maybe plugging the dongle directly to the pi isn’t the best.
Typically if your mlat is not going green it’s because it can’t properly resolve your location coordinates as entered in the system. It needs to be very precise. Close isn’t typically good enough.
But how do you adjust the position?
Interesting. So that was it. Just repositioned on the map and now it’s green. Operating for over 160 days and didn’t realized that was the issue. Thanks.
