How can we know a flight plane’s previous/next flight?
Like, we know CA987 is from PEK to LAX, how do we know before this plane take off at PEK, what’s this plane’s previous flight?

In most cases it the data is below the current/most recent flight when you track

Thank you but I didn’t find the current/most recent flight when I track… Where is that?

FA isn’t going to show the incoming on the “outgoing.” More often than not, use either the airlines website to determine where it came from or just deductive reasoning. Is PEK-LAX some previous (within the past few hours) LAX-PEK flight? Chances are it is. But perhaps not. Flightstats.com might show it. Not sure

Flightradar24 can also be a source of these information. If you’re looking for the reg of the aircraft, they normally show the next scheduled flight as well.

But that doesn’t have 100% accuracy. Very often plans changing quick or aircraft need to be maintained.

When you are on the flight page scroll down to the activity log and you will see the history for flights for that flight or if you click on the aircraft call sign and use the aircraft page check the activity log then you will see all the flights that occurred with that aircraft regardless of the flight numbers.
