How can I tell it is working?

Same here

Started to work somewhen while I was sleeping. Thanks!

It was a glitch on our part – sorry!

Thanks for fixing it! Much appreciated.

I seem to be having a similar issue, been running for over an hour with a new setup. Mac address is claimed on FA website and data is showing up via the local IP on 8080.

New piaware setup, seems to be working based on piaware -debug and piaware.out , but the status page worked for a little bit and does not seem to be updating, similar to the reports above. Did it glitch again?

Hmm, it just updated, though it says “last seen” 10 minutes ago. Does the status page run only every so often, maybe one an hour or something? Or should it reflect near-real-time status?

My setup is currently in the basement of my house so there is a lot of structure for the receiver to see though, though it is catching a few flights. It should do quite a bit better once I move it upstairs in a day or two, we’ll see.

As an aside, I have an aircraft that is ADSB-Out equipped, so equipped at considerable cost. It’ll be interesting to see my own track sometime soon! I will fly some deliberate odd tracks in the sky and see if I can “track-write” something! The N number on N69007, it is a Mooney M20C airplane and I have a Garmin GDL-88 onboard connected to a Garmin GTN650 navigator.

Yes, the “10 minutes ago” Is misleading, but probably means it’s working fine and you’re just waiting for stats to update.

If it doesn’t say “live” then it wasn’t connected during the prior stats run. The stats system runs every 15-30min. It appears OK at the moment.

Just relocated the equipment from the basement man cave to the living room upstairs and put the antenna in the front window so it is not looking through the house structure. Getting LOTS more tracks, as I would expect. Continuing to monitor…
