Get recent a/c movements for a given area

Is there a way to see aircraft movements over the last few days in a given area? I have been asked about an unusually loud/low a/c that was heard last night, I can’t see how to get to that data.

If looking back over the last 24 hours then SearchBirdseyePositions can be helpful. It allows you to search for position reports within an area that can be defined by latitude, longitude and altitude.
