I knew a 747 was fast but Anchorage to Columbus in :55 minutes? WOW.
I know, I know I’m being sarcastic
Then check the holdsgoing in KJFK later that day

Pretty sloppy work there, Slick. Back to retraining with you.
Off course it’s only 55 minutes. It’s going from north to south and everyone knows that going south means going down and if it’s going down it’s like going downhill and if you go downhill you can go faster so I don’t see anything amazing about only 55 minutes while going down south. Besides, the pilots probably wanted to get out of Canada as soon as possible.

(in case you noticed, I’m bored!)
You’re bored? Try being in the lumber market. We have turned our office into a par 3 golf course…
That’s right, you are one of the killers of trees. You should be hugging and sitting in trees rather than being responsible for their deaths. Now just top playing golf in your office and go outside and kiss the first tree you see.
(Note to the humor impaired liberals: The above is humor. Some of my best friends are trees.)

Heh heh, thought the same thing myself.
Can’t figure out why not a direct entry from get go unless ATC had some other agenda and then changed their mind and he re-entered the hold.
What gets me is that after all this training on hold entries, you then get told ATC really doesn’t care how you enter the hold, just stay on the protected side is all they want.

I guess the exchange rate is really scaring them off!
Freeport ME here I come!
Saw him on approach - he dropped under the cloud deck right over the office on Polaris Parkway in Westerville.
Guess he was worried about getting jumped by a P51 Mustang on his final approach to LCK!
I saw him driving down I71 between Gemini and 36/37 (around Lewis Center Rd.). Ok the truth is my 6 year old saw him first. He was in and out of the overcast, it was cool to see.
Ever play golf on a 747?

Damiross, but of course you don’t kiss the trees that have that owl in them. Could be infringing on their territory.
